Think before you ink or, chop an onion

I went to my email and found this one piece from teenspot.com:
"Hi Pandasocks,
We noticed you haven't visited TeenSpot for a few weeks, and we have a confession to make:
We miss you! If we miss you, imagine how much your 0 friends miss you!"
Well, It's nice to see that somebody misses me! And while on yahoo, I have also come across some pictures of bad tattoos, and I figured I would share them.. instead of being stingy with the entertainment.. But first, some enlightenment on chopping onions like a pro. (I hate onions)
  • Buy your onions with papery skins; the paper-like skin protects and keeps the onions fresher longer.
  • Inspect your onions (gosh, that sounds a bit wrong...) Look for black mold or green growth on the stem (Well damn, I wanted to eat the mold!). The outer skin should be dry and smooth.
  • Store all onions - except for green onions, which are to be refrigerated - in a cool dry place; mesh wire baskets are best.
  • Strong flavored onions will stay better for longer than sweet onions.
  • Placing an uncut onion in the fridge for 20-30 minutes reduces the tears; as does wearing glasses.
  • When eating purple or red  onions raw (why!?) immerse them in cold water for 20 minutes before adding to a dish to prevent such a sharp taste.
  • When chopping, leave the root tip to better keep the onion together.
And here is a video on how to chop an onion (really, are people that stupid, or that into onions?! You poor people...) http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/videos.asp?id=27

Now, for the tattoos and stupid people that I promised! .................... But. After all that hard work of putting those pictures and comments, it didn't work, because when I put it on preview.. for some stupid reason, it only showed the title but not the blog itself.. Can somebody help me?
But here is the link so that neither of us really wasted our time... http://photos.ellen.warnerbros.com/galleries/bad_paid_for_tattoos?adid=menu_photos

Think before you ink, and save us all.

Favs! (playlist)

('http://www.youtube.com/p/A86AF7F087029C2F?version=3&hl=en_US',) totally my favs! Plenty more to add, but you know, this is only the begining! :D

Happy Friday The 13th!

Today, as you probally can tell, is Friday the 13th, a supersticous day that just so happens to be my luckiest day of all days - or at least I always have a good day.... Here are some interesting facts about your fearful day, or lucky day:
  • Fear of Friday the 13th is called friggatriskaidekaphobia, according to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville California.
  • It is said that Napolean and President Herbert Hoover also suffered from friggatriskaidekaphobia (how do you pronouce that!?). 17 to 21 million people suffer from this as well.
  • Many hospitals and airports avoid 13th floors, rooms, gates, and air terminals that are numbered 13
  • U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt refused to travel on any 13th day of any month.
  • In Paris you can actually hire a special person to come to your dinner parties or whatever so that you can avoid the apparent superstion of having 13 people, they are called a quatorzieme.
  • Friday the 13th only happens at most 3 times a year, and is due to happen 2 more times; April and July. The longetst time peroid between Friday the 13th's was 14 months.
So, my lucky day went like so; there was a couple inches of snow on the ground from last night, I was warm & cozy in my pink panda feeties until I had to get dressed for school :/ , my hair was cooperating!! :D & in general it was good.. all my classes went by fast, I had good conversations today.. and so forth... it was good :) yeah.... there was more.. but I kind of forgot... I want some chocolate though :/
OMG! I drew the best - probally not, but you know, I freaking love how it came out.. and also I haven't actually drawn like that in a while...- Latvia ever!
For those of you who are not awhere, Latvia country character from Hetalia Axis Powers. An anime series about countries being people, with all their flaws, issues, fights, and responsiblities. Hetalia is like so awesome! My favorite characters from Hetalia are Kumajuro, Canada's pet polar bear; Latvia, a small country that is bullied by Russia and has an alcoholism issue (we say country as in a person, the whole country isn't actually alcoholics.. ); and Italy, he is a huge favorite, bacause he's just so... out there (as in his personality). I actually told my history teacher that I learn more history from an anime than from his class. He is by far, the worst and most lazy teacher I've ever had, ever. He made a list of presidents and what order they served in order.. or tried.. and when we asked why, his reply was "There's  not much else to do while sitting here." What the f*ck dude!! No, you get your lazy mother-f*cking ass up from that chair and teach your class!! You don't sit there like a freaking substitute teacher, you do your freaking job! He gives us like 10 vocabulary and like one half-assed question to answer in a one hour class period!! You don't even have to try very hard at all to get an A. But to top it all off, he's freaking rasict!! Anyways.. here are some links to a more knowlegdeable life of Hetalia! :D

And yeah, I suppose I will stop here.. have fun, be nice, and learn your freaking history with Hetalia!! :D

So yesterday I blogged about apples, today, I'm going to blog about horror films! (One of my favorite genres of movies!)
Today I watched a thriller/horror movie called Dread. It's basically about - without giving away the whole movie - this one college student who gathers 2 classmates to do a thesis project about fear and the greatest dread that comes from being in fear - hence the name- . And to make it interesting the head of the group (or the one who recruited everyone to do it) has this one fear of axe murderers that he never mentions to anybody, except one person, but he tells that person to never tell anybody about it...But back to the point! So to make this thesis project, they record a slew of people to interview on camera to tell about their worst fear experience. In the end, it becomes really fucked up and a bit gross... The movie is rated for a mature audience, with swearing and nudity, but otherwise it's good, but gross. So not for the faint of stomach...
I honestly prefer foreign horrors, because American horrors are pretty much all about blood, gore, and almost always include sex of some sort.. Whereas foreign horrors seem to have a little bit more of a mind-fucking plot that is always turning, and silence used as a suspense mechanism instead of the classic Jaws-like "something is coming after you, just stand there and you should be fine" kind of music.
And that's another point I shall bring up, why, why on Earth, are people in horrors so stupid! They stand there pretty much waiting for their death to come slash them in half. And not even a good kind of slashing! It's just some kind of cheap slice you in half kind of slicing in half. Also, why do the characters walk into empty houses (first of all, that's trust passing, and they shall be arrested!) assuming that nobody lives there. And they say "hello? Is anybody home?" Of course not you stupid person!!! And you shouldn't  be breaking in either!! Hell, some police might even say "Well, they deserved to die because they broke in, and they're stupid!" Have you noticed by the way, that just about all blondes (which there almost always is!) are the first to die?

On a different note, I would like to wonder out loud; what would the world look like without any discrimination? Please, if you would, just mind your own business, if people are happy being who they are, then let them! Hell, if they want to marry their dog, that's no business of yours, you shouldn't concern yourself unless it affects you directly, in which it doesn't!

Please leave a comment, what scares you? Lobotomies, spiders, and dying scare me, what about you? It doesn't matter how stupid, it's all good :) Hope you enjoy my blog! :D Have fun, be postive, find good in the little things, and be nice!

I'm so happy! I have 20 page views... psshhhh, yeah, those of you who say "Oh, twenty, I've had that a long time ago!" Give it up people! Let me have my fun! And by having my fun I shall love to thank those of you who have made my page views go up! :D You've made a young girl very happy!
Now, I was thinking earlier; apples don't get very much credit.. and so, I figured it would be interesting to make a list of facts about apples..... yeah, it sounds stupid.. but you know what? Nobody is here to object me to typing it! :D
Apple Facts
- The crabapple (I read that as "craple" the first time I read it XD ) is the only apple native to North America
- Two pounds of apples makes a 9-inch pie
- The apple blossom is the state flower of Michigan *also not sure if that's true.. but you know, believe whatever you want... I'm not stopping you*
- Apples float because 25% of their volume is air
- The largest apple ever picked weighed 3 pounds 2 ounces
- One medium apple contains about 80 calories
- The word "apple" comes from Old English "aeppel'
- China produces more apples than any other country *again, not sure about that*
- 36 out of 50 states in the U.S. produce apples commercially.
- More than 7500 varieties of apples grow in the world, only 2500 grow in the U.S.
- Red Delicious apple is the #1 popular kind of apple, and is the most widely produced. Golden Delicious is the 2nd.
- Half of the U.S.'s apple crops are turned into apple products such as applesauce and apple juice.
- Apple trees don't bear their first fruits until they are at least 4 or 5 years old.
- The more apples a person eats, the lower their chance of developing lung cancer is (Now don't go eating apples 24/7, you'll get sick!).
- Johnny Appleseed was a nickname for John Chapman, an American pioneer born in 1774 who planted apple seeds in Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
- It was never actually mentioned that the apple was the forbidden fruit in the Bible, it only said "fruit from the Tree of Knowledge", but didn't specify as to what kind of fruit. It was Hugo Van Der Goes who depicted such an idea in his 1470 A.D. painting The Fall of Man.
- The first Apple Logo was used for Isaac Newton, created by a lesser-known artists Ronald Wayne
And I suppose that's enough about apples... Now go eat yourself an apple and lessen your chances as lung cancer! :D Hope you liked this interesting information, I in fact learned some things too :D Learning is good.... Anyways, Thank you for the views, I really hope I get more, & that you enjoyed learning about apples! :D

Well, as of right now, I'm not sure what to name this one...but, we'll get to that later, and on with the recap of my day! :D
Today was great! No jerk - I ignored him, and he ignored me, for the most part... I think I got the point across! :D - , I had a ton of candy to eat throughout the day, I did my work in geometry class - which gives me a better chance at a better grade, which in turn equals facebook back! - , and yeah, just in general was just a "make-my-day" kind of day! Except for one thing. *Que "dun, dun, dunnn" music*       My candy cane got stolen! Don't ask by whom, but that's beside that point. Who in their right mind would steal an innocent candy cane that is just minding it's own business on a desk all by itself? Yeah.. I suppose the last part about the candy cane being all by itself unattended would be the key reason, time, and place where/why my poor lost candy cane got stolen. But that's beside the point!
Also, my parents took us out to dinner at a Chinese buffet :D So yeah, you can guess what we did there; we took over the place! lol no, we ate! :D - God, I feel fat saying that lol... but my friend Aynana says that my sister and I eat like both two full grown men, and a fat kid. Well, such a compliment .... lol - We all went to the bathroom to wash our hands before  we left, and there was this lady in there who did her business and walked out of the bathroom without washing her hands! But get this, she used the sleeve of her sweatshirt to protect herself from germs on the handle; she the one who didn't wash her hands, is protecting herself from those who don't wash their hands? What the f*ck, there is honestly something wrong with this world.... There was also this really fat toddler.. like not as fat as this child in the link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn6i8Rs8aWE) but even still, he ate his food like a grown man, he wasn't messin' around with that food! And when his mother took his plate, this child said in a non-toddler-like voice "No, no, I want that!" he so didn't talk like a toddler, more like an adult in his voice.. it was crazy....
Then we went to freaking Wal*mart... God, I hate that store with a passion! - It was the only store where I lived in Maine - so yeah, we went to Wal*mart and shopped! :D I bought a dark grey giraffe shirt  with a yellow giraffe and hot pink words that say "What's up?", I also bought pink gummy bear headphones, make-up, and tape... yeah, I'm too boring to stalk.. but please do continue reading this blog! 'Cause I do have interesting stuff to say that will give you a break from your own life and possibly make you laugh and look at life in a more positive way - meaning, to find the simple things more enjoyable. Like for example; when the picture of the coffee and the muffin together made my day! -
So I suppose this is it for now, and I shall go to bed... I hope to have followers :D - God, I sound desperate.... but, wouldn't you? lol anyways! - <3 :D Have fun!

Today Kind of Sucked!

Today was a day I've been looking forward to for about a week and a half, and it started out great! My make-up was great, I had an outfit planned, my sister and I didn't fight, I got to see my friend (his name is Chee just in case he ever comes up again lol)... yeah, it was great! Hell, the whole day was great! :D Except for one part... In math class there is this kid -yeah, it's a habit to call everyone "kid", but he's like my age, so he's not a kid.... by the way, I'm 16- named Zach. He's an arrogant pin-head who thinks he's just so funny with all his rude, snide, sarcastic comments on everything! He's especially mean to me, which I don't know why! Unless it's some 3rd grade "I like you so I'm gonna be mean to you" kind of thing... but guess what? This girl isn't taking any crap from that loser. -I'm not going into detail about what he said, but it certainly wasn't appropriate or nice, or really anything except lies and just down-right mean, and defiantly uncalled for. So I told him off, but of course that didn't do any good 'cause he's "just oh-so cool, and nothing can bring down his funny side" yeah, right, that unmentionable word..... And even though that didn't appear to work, -it may have- I just ignored him; example: I turned around to ask my friend Alyssia a question, and Zach just stared at me - what the fuck!?- I didn't even look at him. And he says "Hey, why aren't you looking at me? Hey!" yeah, whatever douche. But it seems to bother him something awful when I don't pay any attention.. so, I've decided that that's the best way to go about this issue.
But even still when I got home, I had wanted to go shopping, but I had just had enough for one day! Thank God I got feetie pajamas for Christmas! 'Cause they're the best thing for a bad day! :D And even though my pink panda feeites, a cup of tea, Princess And the Frog, and a nice big fuzzy blanket didn't make my day.. I can tell you just what did! :D
What did make my day
- When my  parents got home from the store they bought a new coffee maker, and in the instruction manual which I happened to flip through, I found - you're never gonna guess! - a picture of a cup of coffee and a muffin :D
- I was working on my chemistry homework; an exam review word search - it sounds simple, but my chemistry is taught at a college level, and the word search was pretty intricate; you had to do other stuff to the clue to get the right answer, then find the answer in the word search part- so I was working on that for like a long a*s time when I had calmed myself down a bit, and while in class Mr. Barerra - my chemistry teacher, he's awesome! - mentioned that he's never had anybody find all of the answers and words. And just guess what I did!? I freaking finished it!!! :D

Now, this is kind of random, - but I am the Queen of Randomness, come on now! - but I was thinking of some things, as well of accidentally searching some of this stuff while doing my word search.
   Here they are:
-  Life is like a word search, don't search, just happen to come across it and you'll have more fun along the way. *said my me, now don't steal it! That's not nice!*
- Why do english written text books have a spanish glossary? We don't need it!
- A tooth brush that sings "My Shiny Teeth and Me" *Also my idea, so don't steal that either!!* Link below :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IRdw_Qgwqc&list=FL9O2wIEeMzTkntgE2k9gG7A&index=7&feature=plpp_video
- Apparently oxygen makes Superman sick, just in case anyone is looking to get him outta the way for a bit

Okay! I suppose that's it, and I shall be getting to bed for yet another day of school! Talk to you later! :D -whoever you are lol - Thank you! <3 :D
